The final principle of the Core is to do whatever it takes to make sure the attacker is unable to continue the fight.
We have hopefully attacked the weapon, overlapped our attacks to render the attacker useless, so now we must ensure they are unable to continue.
A neck break is the most simplest solution but once again comes with its own legal ramifications risk but is a very valid solution.
The usual take down and disarm is not a good idea as it adds too many additional movements that leave room for error.
Attacking the leg is the only sure fire way of rendering them unable to continue the fight.
A cut to the knees golgi tendon will take their weight bearing ability. A tendon cut behind the knee would also render the leg useless. Cutting the sciatic nerve is another very valid target that commonly goes overlooked.
So the neck, knee, and tendons/nerves are the most important targets to focus on and work majority of the time.
